5 Months Old

Ty 4 1/2 months old

Time is just flying by. Ty turned 5 months on may 16th. He is rolling over to move places, trying to get up on his knees, starting to sit up, eating rice cereal and home made baby food, and playing the uh-oh game. He has changed so much in just the past couple weeks. It is so fun to watch him grow and learn but even Clark agrees it is sad how fast it goes.

Clark had another very major surgery on the 12th. He has about a 10in incision and was in the hospital for 5 days. Ty and I where able to stay with him! Ty did so good and the doctors and nurses loved him. We were at a great hospital with very big new rooms. It worked out perfect. For the rest of our trip there we were able to stay with my Grandparents in Vancouver. We love staying with them. It is now our home away from home. We are so greatful to them for always opening there home to us and being there for whatever we need.

The surgery went well. It was a lot longerthan they had planned because of all of Clark's masive amount of scar tissue from his previous surgeries. It lasted about 5 hours but the doctor felt everything went great and that Clark should feel a lot better soon! He is already able to eat a lot better and in a little less pain. I am so amazed by him. He is such an amazinh husband, daddy, and best friend. He i always thinking of the possitve and had a smile on his face right away. The first thing he did was give me and Ty a kiss and a smile. He is my hero and I know Ty will look up to him as well. I couldn't have asked for a better role model for our kids. Ty is so lucky to have such an amazing Daddy.

We have been busy trying to decide what directon our life is going to go in from here. The doctors don't feel that Clark will be able to go back to a "normal" job so we have been brain storming to come up with ideas to start our own business or anything he can do. HE is so talented in so many areas and after everything we have gone through we both know that we can do absolutely anything we set out to do. We have faith everything will work out we just don't know how. I guess thats what makes life exciting though.

Well I will be posting more pictures soon. I have some really cute ones of Ty with his Daddy in the hospital bed. Ty just thinks his dad is the best thing ever, it is so neat to watch them together. I will update again very soon! Not like months later like this last time.

Enjoy the good weather and happy memorial day!
